Suigang-Link and HSUHK Sign MOU with CIE Start-up Teams Sharing Session: Global Affairs Office (GAO) Represents the University at Signing Ceremony

On 12 June 2026, Suigang-Link (Guangzhou) Consulting Co., Ltd. and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) held an MOU Signing Ceremony at Guangzhou Nansha Yuexiu International Finance Centre. HSUHK was represented by Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs Office (GAO), which signed a memorandum of understanding with Suigang-Link to facilitate future exchanges and collaboration in youth entrepreneurship and innovation incubation.

Attending units included: the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the HKSAR Government, the United Front and Liaison Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Nansha Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation Promotion Centre, and the Hong Kong-Macao Youth Wuyue Centre. Ms. So Tsz Yin, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong, graced the event with her presence, witnessing the signing of the MOU and engaging in lively exchanges with the start-up teams.

Suigang-Link is a one-stop service platform for enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and operates the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation Centre incubator. The signing of this MOU aligns with HSUHK’s earlier efforts in establishing HSUHK (Nansha) Centre, helping to further connect entrepreneurial resources between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

Following the ceremony, three start-up teams from HSUHK's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE)—PrimeUnity Education, UltraGuardian Co., Ltd., and The Peel—delivered sharing sessions. Representing education innovation, intelligent welding technology, and cultural creativity respectively, the teams exchanged their entrepreneurial ideas and practical experiences with the audience.

Attendees included young entrepreneurs, representatives from government units, and Suigang-Link staff. The atmosphere was warm and engaging. After the team presentations, participants raised questions enthusiastically, leading to lively discussions on GBA entrepreneurship ecosystems, policy support, and cross-border resource matching.

The smooth organisation of this event was made possible by the thoughtful coordination of GAO. From initial liaison and delegation arrangements to facilitating the MOU signing, GAO’s meticulous work ensured the success of the event.

Heartfelt thanks to PrimeUnity Education, UltraGuardian Co., Ltd., and The Peel for sharing. Congratulations to HSUHK and Suigang-Link on a successful and pleasant collaboration. And sincere gratitude to the GAO for leading and organising such a successful event.
