The fifth session of the Start-up Essentials Workshop Series 101 focused on one of the most critical aspects of entrepreneurship: business models and pitch strategies. We were honoured to have Mr Alvin Lam, Chairman of the Venture Investment Committee at the Hong Kong Quality and Talent Migrants Association, lead this high-impact session.
Alvin expertly broke down core business frameworks, guiding participants to identify key components and refine their business plans. The business proposal sharing session offered sharp insight into how to highlight the essentials while addressing stakeholder needs effectively. What truly elevated the workshop, however, was the hands-on group discussion and live pitching activity, where participants defined their own businesses and received real-time feedback.
Participants praised the interactive format and Alvin's practical teaching style, noting improved clarity in their pitching approach and deeper understanding of what makes a proposal investor-ready.
