The GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme officially kicked off with its first event, Briefing Session 1.0, held online on 14 August 2025. The session was hosted by Dr Holly Chung, Associate Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). 

The session introduced the programme’s incubation support, eligibility criteria, and related services, aiming to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs and social innovators to take part in the dynamic GBA ecosystem. 

During the interactive Q&A session, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm by posing insightful questions regarding the Programme’s details and upcoming opportunities.  

With nearly 200 participants in attendance, Briefing Session 1.0 marked a strong and promising start to the programme, laying the groundwork for upcoming engagements.
