HSUHK Start-up Team Featured at "Innovative Technology Application" Youth Start-up Exchange

On 10 September 2026 (Thursday), the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) of HSUHK sent three youth start-up teams to participate in the "Innovative Technology Application" Youth Start-up Teams Exchange, showcasing their innovative projects and achievements. The event was held under the framework of the GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme, funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission, bringing together programme partner organisations including Proactive Think Tank, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Po Leung Kuk, SideBySide and the Smart City Consortium to foster cross-sector exchange and collaboration.

The event was honoured to welcome Mr Patrick Li Pak-chuen, Permanent Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, as Guest of Honour. Mr Li, together with other guests, first toured the start-up exhibition booths, learning about each team's innovative projects and products and engaging with the young entrepreneurs. Six start-up team representatives were also invited to share their entrepreneurial journeys on stage. Among them, CIE's representative team, INSPARTAN, introduced its AI-powered personalised learning platform designed for primary school students, which leverages adaptive learning and real-time feedback to help parents track their children's progress. The team is also focused on developing AI products for the elderly and anti-fraud education. In addition, Mr Yim Wai-cho, Deputy Director of Operations at the GBA (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, delivered a thematic sharing on "OPC Trends and Policies", offering valuable insights into policy developments across the Greater Bay Area.

This exchange provided CIE's start-up teams with a valuable platform to engage directly with government officials, cross-sector partners and fellow entrepreneurs, building networks and expanding their connections in the Greater Bay Area. Special thanks to Mr Patrick Li Pak-chuen for gracing the event, to the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission for their funding support, and to all organising partners for their thoughtful arrangements in making this event a resounding success.
