On 27 April 2026 (Monday), Proactive Think Tank Limited held the "GBA Youth Start-up Programme 2025-2028 – Brave the Bay Area Award Ceremony" at the Conference Hall, 4/F, Hong Kong Productivity Council in Kowloon Tong. The event honoured outstanding young start-up teams and brought together aspiring youth, mentors, and supporting organisations to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong was invited to attend the ceremony. Guests actively engaged with the award-winning teams and other Hong Kong youth interested in venturing into the GBA. Through lively exchange sessions, participants learned about the teams’ practical achievements and plans and held in-depth discussions with mentors and experts on GBA incubation services and landing support policies.
The award ceremony featured several highlights: sharing sessions by outstanding youth start-up teams to facilitate networking within the entrepreneurial ecosystem; mentor sharing on first-hand entrepreneurial thinking and incubation know-how; and on-the-spot briefings on GBA support policies, offering participants practical directions for market entry. The room was filled with energy, with enthusiastic questions and exchanges that truly reflected the drive and determination of young entrepreneurs.
CIE has long been committed to promoting youth entrepreneurship and social innovation. By attending this award ceremony, CIE not only strengthened its collaboration with Proactive Think Tank Limited and other industry partners, but also further enhanced cross-sector communication, laying a more solid foundation for jointly supporting start-up teams in the future.
