How can we design a keyboard that is both market-competitive and socially meaningful? In the Start-up Essentials Workshop Series 101 #8, we invited Design Thinking Coach Mr Cyron Chan to guide participants through a hands-on exploration of keyboard design to experience design thinking in action.
Through the challenge of creating a keyboard either for themselves or for their neighbors, participants engaged in a human-centered design process—learning to empathize, identify the “unseen” needs, and transform insights into creative solutions. The workshop vividly illustrated that only by deeply understanding users and uncovering their needs can one truly craft a product prototype that carries both commercial value and social impact.
Cyron's session seamlessly blended theory with practice, allowing participants to experience firsthand the complexities of taking a product from concept to prototype.
